Maintenance Department

The Maintenance Department for the Pike County Board of Education oversees approximately 750,000 square feet of heated and cooled facilities serving students, faculty, and staff across buildings in Troy, Brundidge, Banks, and Goshen, Alabama. This space includes classrooms, cafeterias, kitchens, football stadiums at Pike County High School and Goshen High School, over eight miles of hallways, 90 restrooms, and various operational and technology workspaces. The Maintenance Department is responsible for maintaining these facilities, which also include a wide range of HVAC systems.

Our mission is to support the goals of the Pike County Board of Education by maintaining safe, functional, and efficient learning environments while being fiscally responsible and maximizing the impact of taxpayer dollars for the benefit of our students.
